Devin was one of the first products sold as an autonomous software engineer, and it is still among the most complete for ticket-driven teams. Cognition's docs describe an agent that writes, runs and tests code and suggest a rule of thumb: if you could do it in three hours, Devin can most likely do it. The listed strengths are parallel work on Linear and Jira tickets, code migrations, framework upgrades, bug reproduction, unit tests and PR review. The pricing page lists Slack, Microsoft Teams, Linear, Jira, GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket integrations, plus DeepWiki and an API. Pro at $20 a month adds Devin Cloud and full model availability, Max at $200 raises quotas, and Teams costs $80 a month plus $40 per full seat for up to 200 users. Enterprise can deploy in your own VPC. It ranks below Cursor on ease of use and value because team pricing stacks a platform fee on seats and Free does not include cloud agents.
