Cursor is the strongest pick for developers who are ready to move into a dedicated AI editor. Its agent can plan, search and build across a project, and from Premium it can hand work to cloud agents that build and test features on their own machines, review pull requests through Bugbot and run automations. The same agent runs in a CLI, in Slack and in GitHub reviews. Pricing has changed shape: plans now combine Cursor with Grok and X features, and the cheapest paid tier, Plus at $8 a month, includes Grok models only. Premium at $30 adds cloud agents and code review, but third-party models such as Claude or GPT are charged separately at API list price rather than drawn from the plan's pool. Usage refreshes weekly, and a privacy mode guarantees code data is not used for training. Feature depth is the highest here; value depends on which models you want.
