Dice is the specialist pick for tech hiring. Its audience is technology and AI professionals, so a backend developer or cloud engineer opening reaches people with those skills rather than a general crowd. Pricing is fixed and public: a single job slot costs $399 and stays active for 30 days, Starter at $649 a month billed month to month covers three slots, one user and 250 candidate views, and Standard at $899 a month on an annual contract adds five slots, two users, 500 shared candidate views, branded jobs, a company profile and a dedicated account manager. Dice says 97% of companies that post receive an applicant in the first 24 hours. The drawback is price per role. A $399 slot costs far more than a free post on Indeed, LinkedIn or Wellfound, so Dice pays off mainly for skilled roles where general boards return the wrong applicants. Recruiters who live in candidate search will get more from Starter than from single slots.
