Document360 takes the top spot because it is the most complete tool here that does nothing but documentation. Writers, editors and reviewers work in a portal with a category manager, custom workflows, scheduled publishing, inline comments and duplicate content detection, while readers get a separate site that can be public, private or mixed. Support teams get a ticket deflector, a knowledge base widget, interactive decision trees and an AI chatbot that answers from your articles, and AI search cites every source it uses. Product and engineering teams can publish API documentation and connect the knowledge base to AI assistants through an MCP server. The trade-off is price transparency: the pricing page asks you to start a 14 day trial and then contact the team for a customized plan, so you cannot compare costs before talking to sales. For a short FAQ it is more tool than you need.
