Employee Navigator is the strongest option for brokers because it is designed around an agency's book of business rather than a single employer. A broker sets up plans for each client, and employees self-enroll online or on mobile, compare plans, use decision support and acknowledge plan documents. The platform connects to carriers, payroll systems and TPAs, lists more than 600 integrated partners and 83 payroll partners, and offers 834 EDI feeds from the Enhanced Plus plan up. ACA reporting covers variable hour tracking, ALE calculations, an affordability calculator and 1094 and 1095 forms. Higher plans add an enrollment assistance tool with calendar links and chat, new hire onboarding, PTO tracking and agency management system integrations. The vendor says it is audited annually for SOC2 Type II and HITRUST. The drawback is price transparency: every plan is quoted by sales, and EDI feeds add $0.45 per employee per month below Platinum.
