Paylocity review

Paylocity is an HCM suite aimed at US companies that have outgrown small-business payroll. Its HRIS covers recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration across the employee lifecycle, with time and labor management, talent tools and an employee experience layer that includes a mobile app and Community. The platform also reaches into finance and IT, with headcount planning, expense management and Airbase by Paylocity corporate cards, and provisioning and asset tools for IT, all built on the same employee data. Reporting includes out-of-the-box reports and custom dashboards, and workflows automate actions across modules. Paylocity sells through demos and does not publish prices, so you cannot compare costs before a sales call. The breadth also means a longer setup than tools such as Gusto or BambooHR. For midsize employers that want one vendor for payroll, benefits and HR with service attached, it is a solid contender.
