Monster+ earns its place because one purchase now covers two of the oldest US job sites: Monster and CareerBuilder have joined forces, and each promoted job is published to both plus a partner network. Monster+ Standard is pay as you go from $8 a day, where the daily figure is your average spend over 30 days and you are charged when candidates view, click or apply. The Pro plan at $299 a month, or $2,990 prepaid for a year, adds resume search, proactive messaging and unlimited users, with 299 credits each month that pay for clicks and resume views at $2 each. Pro is the plan to choose if you want to search the database rather than wait for applicants. Watch the fine print: the first promoted job triggers a $10 upfront charge, Pro credits expire monthly, and spending beyond them is billed the next period. There is no free tier, so Indeed or LinkedIn remain cheaper for a first test.
