Clinical tools cover documentation, group therapy, treatment planning, integrated outcome measures and ePrescribing. Practice management covers billing, utilization review, consent and intake forms, prospective patient management, scheduling and reporting, and patients get the MYIO portal, telehealth, integrated communications and online bill pay. Valant can also take over billing through its revenue cycle management service. The drawback for smaller practices is pricing: Valant publishes no plans and builds quotes around provider license counts, specialty and add-ons, so you cannot compare it without a sales call. It ranks last on value for that reason, not for lack of features.
