eHopper is the budget option for shops that mainly need a reliable register with stock and customer records. Essential Plus costs $10 a month billed at $120 a year, or $14.99 month to month, and includes inventory management, customer management, split payments and basic reporting, but it stops at 1,000 products and 1,000 transactions a month. Most retailers will be better served by Freedom, which removes those limits and adds an inventory matrix for variants, store transfers, PO receiving, a barcode manager, low stock alerts, loyalty and QuickBooks integration, from $20.99 a month billed yearly. The software runs on eHopper all-in-one devices, Android tablets and Windows PCs and works with eHopper processing or other providers. The trade-off is lighter reporting and support than the larger platforms, with phone support only on the top OmniChannel plan.
