Zoho Projects brings traditional project controls to small teams at a low cost. The free plan covers up to 5 users with 3 projects, subtasks, a whiteboard, 5 GB of storage, mobile apps and integration with Google apps and Office 365. Premium removes the project cap and adds custom views and statuses, task blueprints, project budgets with earned value management, time logs and timesheets with multi-level approvals, recurring tasks, 20 project templates and Zia AI features such as summaries and task creation. Enterprise adds critical path and baselines, a portfolio dashboard, SSO and custom roles. A 15-day trial needs no credit card. We could not confirm US dollar prices from this location, so check the vendor's page. The tradeoff is ease of use: there are many settings, and teams that only want a task board will find Trello or Basecamp quicker to adopt.
