Essentials costs $19.95 per user per month with no contract and lists more than 100 standard features, including unlimited calling in the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, a virtual receptionist, the mobile app, one free toll-free number and digital fax. That covers the basics an office loses when it drops its landlines. Pro at $24.95 adds the desktop app, up to 250 texts a month, video meetings for 25 people, call recording and enhanced call blocking. Pro Plus at $29.95 adds AI transcriptions and insights, CRM integration, up to 1,000 texts, team chat, hot desking and call queuing. Ooma also sells business phones, which helps offices that want physical handsets. The weak spot is that texting and recording are not in the entry plan, so many teams will end up on Pro.
