9 Best AI Chatbots of 2026
By the TopToolAdvisor research desk · Updated November 7, 2026 · Next review December 22, 2026 · 9 products scored
Our pick in brief
ChatGPT Business is the best starting point for most teams: $20 per seat per month billed annually, the interface most staff already know, connectors for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack and GitHub, and no training on business data by default. Claude Team costs the same and is the stronger pick for teams that produce long documents, slides or code, with up to $500 a month in pooled API credits. If you already pay for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, test Copilot Business or the Gemini included in Workspace before adding a second bill. Perplexity fits research teams, Grok fits teams that want live X data, Mistral Vibe fits European buyers, Amazon Quick is cheapest at scale, and Poe is for comparing models rather than managing a team.
Quick answer
ChatGPT Business is the best AI chatbot for businesses buying one plan for their whole team in 2026; Claude Team suits teams that need documents, slides and code from the same $20 seat; Amazon Quick Essentials is the cheapest paid option at $3 per user per month plus a $250 account fee, and ChatGPT, Claude and Mistral Vibe all have free plans.
This list is for business owners and IT leads picking a general AI chatbot plan for a team, not an individual subscription or a customer-facing bot. We compared documented features and published prices for 9 chatbots and scored each on features, ease of use and value, with weights of 35, 35 and 30. Prices are the cheapest paid team tier in US dollars as shown on the vendor page on the day we checked. Google Workspace and Poe showed another currency from our location and the Perplexity team price was not on the default tab, so those three prices are marked pending. Meta AI and DeepSeek were left out because neither sells a team chatbot plan.

Price
Standard seat $20 per user per month billed annually, $25 monthly; premium seat $100
Quoted from the ChatGPT Business pricing page on November 7, 2026:
$20/month if billed annually. $25/month if billed monthly.
ChatGPT Business takes first place because it combines the most familiar chatbot with the controls a business owner needs before handing it to staff. The standard seat is $20 per month on an annual plan, or $25 month to month, and OpenAI lists all ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex features as included, so one subscription serves writers, analysts and developers. The pricing page lists connectors for Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub and Microsoft 365, workspace agents for repeatable tasks, and SAML SSO with MFA. Admins also get centralized billing, usage analytics and spend controls. Seats can be mixed, so a few power users can move to the $100 premium seat without changing the plan for everyone. The limits matter for growing firms: Business covers 2 to 200 employees, and SCIM, EKM, custom retention and data residency in ten regions sit on the Enterprise plan, which is priced by sales. OpenAI also says that from December plan usage becomes one shared limit across ChatGPT and Codex.
Strengths
- +OpenAI states business data is not used for training by default
- +Coding with Codex comes in the same $20 annual seat
- +Premium seats at $100 remove the 5-hour limit for heavy users
Drawbacks
- −Business is capped at 200 employees
- −SCIM, EKM and data residency need the sales-priced Enterprise plan
- −From December, usage is one shared limit across ChatGPT and Codex
- Standard seat
- $20 per month billed annually, $25 billed monthly
- Premium seat
- $100 per month billed annually, $125 billed monthly
- Team size
- 2 to 200 employees
- Data training
- Not on business data by default

Standard seat $20 per user per month billed annually, $25 monthly; premium seat $100
Quoted from the Claude Team pricing page on November 7, 2026:
$20 Per seat / month if billed annually. $25 if billed monthly.
Claude Team is a close second and the better choice when the chatbot has to produce finished work rather than short answers. A standard seat costs $20 per month billed annually or $25 monthly, the same as ChatGPT Business, and Anthropic includes Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and the Design, Slides and Docs tools in that seat. The plan adds enterprise search across your organization, SSO, central billing, admin controls for remote and local connectors, and up to $500 per month in pooled API credits, which is unusual at this price. Anthropic states it does not train models on your content by default. Premium seats give 5x the standard usage for $100 on annual billing. The trade-offs are scale and limits: Team covers 2 to 150 people, usage is metered every 5 hours and every week, and SCIM, audit logs and custom retention require Enterprise, which starts at $20 per seat plus usage at API rates with a 20 seat minimum.
Strengths
- +No model training on your content by default
- +Pooled API credits come with the Team plan
- +Self-serve Enterprise tier at $20 per seat plus usage adds SCIM and audit logs
Drawbacks
- −Team plan tops out at 150 people
- −Usage limits apply per 5-hour window and per week
- −Self-serve Enterprise needs 20 seats and bills model usage at API rates
- Standard seat
- $20 per month billed annually, $25 billed monthly
- Premium seat
- $100 per month billed annually, $125 billed monthly, 5x standard usage
- Team size
- 2 to 150 people
- API credits
- Up to $500 per month, pooled

Add-on from $18 per user per month paid yearly (promotional, regularly $21); bundles with Microsoft 365 from $23.50
Quoted from the Microsoft 365 Copilot Business pricing page on November 7, 2026:
Originally starting from $21.00 now starting from $18.00
Microsoft 365 Copilot Business ranks third because it puts the chatbot where Microsoft shops already work. The add-on is listed from $18 per user per month paid yearly, down from $21, and Microsoft also sells Business Standard with Copilot at $23.50 and Business Premium with Copilot at $32.00 on annual terms. Microsoft lists Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, AI chat grounded in work data with a choice of language models, pre-built agents for research and data analysis, and access to Cowork and Autopilot. Enterprise Data Protection and analytics for adoption and usage come with the seat. The catch is the dependency: you need Microsoft 365 underneath, and the page notes usage-based billing for select advanced AI features, so the seat price is not always the full cost. Teams on Google Workspace or with no office suite get less from it than from a standalone chatbot.
Strengths
- +Works inside apps staff already use every day
- +Adoption and usage analytics for admins
- +Bundles with Business Standard and Business Premium simplify billing
Drawbacks
- −Requires a Microsoft 365 plan to add it to
- −Annual subscription that auto renews at the promotional price tier
- −Some advanced AI features are billed by usage on top of the seat
- Add-on price
- From $18 per user per month paid yearly, regularly $21
- Bundle
- Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot at $23.50 per user per month paid yearly
- Billing
- Annual subscription, auto renews
- Extra charges
- Usage-based billing for select advanced AI features

See vendor pricing (USD check pending); Gemini comes with Google Workspace Business plans
We could not confirm a US price yet. Check the Gemini for Google Workspace pricing page.
Gemini for Google Workspace is the obvious chatbot for companies that already run on Gmail and Drive, because it comes with the plan rather than as a second bill. Google's pricing page lists chat with Gemini on Business Starter, with the note that company data is not used to train models, plus the Gemini assistant in Gmail and the Google Vids video editor. Business Standard extends Gemini into Docs, Meet and more and raises pooled storage to 2 TB per user, and Business Plus adds 5 TB and eDiscovery. Every plan has a 14 day trial. We could not record a USD price, because the page showed Polish zloty from our location, so the pricing entry is pending. The ranking reflects good ease of use for Google users and solid features, but the in-app assistant is only on Standard and up, and the value case is weak for a team that does not use the rest of Workspace.
Strengths
- +No extra seat if you already pay for Workspace
- +Google states company data in Gemini chat is not used to train models
- +14 day free trial on Workspace plans
Drawbacks
- −USD prices were not shown from our location, so the price check is pending
- −Gemini in Docs and Meet needs Business Standard or higher
- −Value depends on also using Gmail and Drive
- Included in
- Google Workspace Business Starter, Standard, Plus and Enterprise
- Free trial

- Storage
- 30 GB pooled per user on Starter, 2 TB on Standard, 5 TB on Plus

See vendor pricing (USD check pending); Enterprise plans sold per seat, with a free individual tier
We could not confirm a US price yet. Check the Perplexity Enterprise pricing page.
Perplexity Enterprise ranks fifth and is the pick when the main job is finding and checking facts. Perplexity built its product around answers with citations, and the enterprise page adds search across internal files through integrations, the Comet browser for handling email and routine tasks, and Computer, which it describes as able to analyze data, create content, build sites and fix code from plain language requests. Security features are strong for the price class: SOC 2 Type II certification, SSO and SCIM, audit logs, and file retention that can be set to delete files automatically after as little as 1 day. Perplexity says it never trains its models on enterprise customer data and that it serves 50,000+ organizations. We could not confirm the per-seat team price because the pricing page opened on the individual tab from our location, so this entry is pending. For drafting long documents or slides, ChatGPT and Claude do more.
Strengths
- +Perplexity states it never trains its models on enterprise customer data
- +SOC 2 Type II certified and listed as GDPR and HIPAA compliant
- +File retention can be set as short as 1 day
Drawbacks
- −The team price was not shown on the default tab, so the check is pending
- −Strongest at research, less so at long document drafting
- −Computer tasks draw on a credit allowance
- Organizations
- 50,000+ according to Perplexity

- SOC 2 Type II
- Identity
- SSO and SCIM
- File retention
- Automatic deletion configurable down to 1 day

Business plan $30 per user per month; Enterprise through sales
Quoted from the Grok Business pricing page on November 7, 2026:
$30 / month per user
Grok Business places sixth. The page lists the Business plan at $30 per user per month for small and midsize teams, which is $10 more than the ChatGPT and Claude annual seats. In return you get real-time search that draws on X, connectors for Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and Notion with the option to bring your own MCP server, and outputs beyond chat, including slides, spreadsheets and documents. The plan list covers role based access control, no training, team seat management, consolidated billing, domain verification, user analytics and custom data retention. Voice agents with 25+ voices and image and video generation are also part of the product. Two gaps hold it back for businesses: SSO and SCIM sit on the Enterprise tier, and the plan has no annual discount listed.
Strengths
- +No training on business data, per the plan list
- +SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR noted on the page
- +Connectors can read and update records end to end
Drawbacks
- −Highest seat price among the self-serve plans here
- −SSO and SCIM are on Enterprise, not Business
- −No annual billing discount is listed for Business
- Business seat
- $30 per user per month
- Security
- SOC 2 Type I and II, role based access control
- Enterprise extras
- SSO, SCIM, customer-managed encryption keys
- Vendor
- SpaceX Super Intelligence (formerly xAI)

Free plan; Essentials $3 per user per month plus a $250 infrastructure fee per account; Plus $20 per user billed annually
Quoted from the Amazon Quick pricing page on November 7, 2026:
$3 /user/month +$250 infrastructure fee per account
Amazon Quick is the budget pick. Its organization plans start with Essentials at $3 per user per month plus a $250 infrastructure fee per account, which makes a company-wide rollout cheap once headcount is large enough to spread the fee. Essentials includes everything in Plus along with RBAC, SSO, data sovereignty and admin controls, 24/7 AWS support and no seat cap. Smaller teams can instead sign up by email for Plus at $20 per user billed annually, which covers up to 300 users with shared spaces and centralized billing, or start on the free plan. Across plans, Amazon lists chat, in-depth research, conversion of chats into docs, sheets, decks and apps, flows for repetitive work and connectors for Slack, email and QuickBooks. Ease of use scores lower because buyers must choose between two plan families and two signup paths, and agent hours are capped per user each month.
Strengths
- +Lowest paid per-user price on this list
- +Organization plans add RBAC, SSO and data sovereignty with no seat cap
- +Plus plan for teams up to 300 at $20 per user billed annually
Drawbacks
- −Organization plans add a $250 infrastructure fee per account
- −Two plan families, signup by email or AWS account, take time to compare
- −Agent hours are capped per user each month
- Plus
- $20 per user per month billed annually, $25 monthly, up to 300 users
- Essentials
- $3 per user per month plus $250 per account

Free plan; Team $24.99 per user per month, excluding taxes
Quoted from the Mistral Vibe Team pricing page on November 7, 2026:
$24.99 /user/mo
Mistral Vibe Team is the European option on this list and ranks seventh. Vibe is the assistant Mistral now sells in place of Le Chat, and the Team plan costs $24.99 per user per month excluding taxes. Mistral describes it as a secure, collaborative workspace with higher limits, faster responses, up to 30 GB of storage per user, domain name verification and data export. The feature table includes voice mode, skills for repeatable tasks, libraries for uploaded files in PDF, image, CSV and Office formats, unlimited task scheduling, and tools to create spreadsheets and slides. There are 100+ connectors, and the same product covers coding through a CLI, IDE plugins and the web. A permanent free plan lets a team test it first. The weak spots for business buyers are admin depth and price: SAML SSO, audit logs and custom models are on the Enterprise plan, and the Team seat costs more than the annual seats from OpenAI and Anthropic.
Strengths
- +Permanent free plan for trying it first
- +Domain name verification and data export on Team
- +Coding agent in the CLI, IDE and web from the same product
Drawbacks
- −SAML SSO and audit logs are Enterprise only
- −Team price is above the $20 annual seats from OpenAI and Anthropic
- −Usage is subject to fair usage limits
- Team seat
- $24.99 per user per month, excluding taxes

- Up to 30 GB per user on Team

See vendor pricing (USD check pending); points-based subscription plans
We could not confirm a US price yet. Check the Poe pricing page.
Poe rounds out the list as the model sampler. Quora's app lets you chat with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral and other providers, privately or in group chats, and every message draws from a single points allowance. Non-paying users get daily points that reset every 24 hours; subscribers get more points, the newest bots and the option to buy add-on points, which Poe prices at $30 per 1M points. For teams, Poe offers shared subscriptions: the subscriber invites a limited number of group members, sees their aggregate usage and can remove them at any time. That is where the business case thins out. Each group member can use up to 100% of the subscriber's points, and Poe does not list SSO, an admin console or business data terms. The subscription page showed prices in Polish zloty from our location, so pricing is pending.
Strengths
- +Broadest model choice of any product here
- +Free daily points for non-paying users
- +Subscriber sees aggregate usage of group members
Drawbacks
- −No SSO, admin console or business data terms listed
- −Shared members can use up to 100% of the subscriber's points
- −Prices showed in Polish zloty from our location, so the check is pending

What to check before you buy
Check what your office suite already includes
Gemini chat comes with every Google Workspace Business plan, and Microsoft sells Copilot as an $18 add-on or bundled into Microsoft 365 Business Standard at $23.50 per user per month paid yearly. If most of your work happens in Gmail or Outlook, the built-in assistant may cover enough to skip a standalone chatbot.
Look at team size caps
ChatGPT Business covers 2 to 200 employees, Claude Team 2 to 150 and Amazon Quick Plus up to 300. Beyond those numbers you move to enterprise tiers, which are usually priced through sales or billed by usage, so plan for that step if you are growing.
Ask where SSO and SCIM live
ChatGPT Business, Claude Team and Amazon Quick Essentials list SSO in the team tier. Grok and Mistral put SSO on Enterprise, and Claude and ChatGPT reserve SCIM for Enterprise. If your IT team provisions accounts from an identity provider, confirm the tier before you buy.
Read the data training terms
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity and the Grok Business plan list no training on business data by default. Poe does not list business data terms for shared subscriptions, so treat it as a tool for testing models rather than for company files.
Budget for heavy users separately
ChatGPT and Claude both sell $100 premium seats that you can mix with $20 standard seats, so you do not need to pay the higher price for everyone. Microsoft bills some advanced AI features by usage, and Amazon Quick caps agent hours per user, so check those limits against how your team works.
Common questions
- What is the best AI chatbot for a business in 2026?
- ChatGPT Business ranks first on our list at $20 per user per month billed annually, with SSO, connectors and no training on business data by default. Claude Team is a close second at the same price and adds Claude Code, Cowork and up to $500 a month in pooled API credits.
- Is ChatGPT Business or Claude Team cheaper?
- They cost the same: $20 per seat per month billed annually or $25 monthly for a standard seat, and $100 for a premium seat on annual billing. ChatGPT Business allows up to 200 employees and Claude Team up to 150.
- What is the cheapest AI chatbot plan for a team?
- Amazon Quick Essentials costs $3 per user per month plus a $250 infrastructure fee per account, the lowest paid per-user price on our list. ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral Vibe, Perplexity and Poe also have free tiers, but free plans lack admin controls.
- Do I need a separate chatbot if I use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
- Not always. Gemini chat is included in Google Workspace Business plans, and Microsoft 365 Copilot Business is an add-on from $18 per user per month paid yearly. A standalone chatbot makes sense when you need features those suites lack, such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Which AI chatbots do not train on business data?
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity and Grok Business state they do not train on business or enterprise customer data by default, and Google says company data in Gemini chat is not used to train models. Check each vendor's terms for the tier you buy.
- Why are Meta AI and DeepSeek not on the list?
- This list covers chatbot plans a business can buy and manage for a team. Neither Meta AI nor DeepSeek sells a team chatbot plan with admin controls, so we left them out.
