10 Best Call Center Software of 2026

By the TopToolAdvisor research desk · Updated November 5, 2026 · Next review December 20, 2026 · 10 products scored

Our pickGenesys Cloud CXMid-sized and large contact centers that want voice, IVR and outbound campaigns now and room to add digital channels later.8.8

Our pick in brief

Genesys Cloud CX is the safest pick for most contact centers because its $75 entry plan already covers voice routing, speech-enabled IVR, outbound campaigns and analytics, and the higher tiers add digital channels and workforce management without a platform change. Dialpad and RingCentral RingCX are quicker to set up and cheaper for mid-sized teams, Talkdesk sits between them and the enterprise suites, and Aircall or JustCall fit small call teams that mostly need a shared phone line with routing. NICE CXone Mpower and Five9 have the deepest enterprise toolsets but cost more per seat, and Five9 requires 50 seats. Amazon Connect is the best fit for teams on AWS that prefer pay-per-minute billing over seat licenses.

Quick answer

Genesys Cloud CX is the best call center software for contact centers that need inbound routing, IVR and outbound campaigns on one cloud platform in 2026, from $75 per user per month billed annually. Dialpad suits teams that want AI transcripts and a power dialer in a fast setup at $89 per user per month billed annually, and RingCentral RingCX suits budget-minded centers at $65 per agent with unlimited minutes. JustCall is the cheapest option at $29 per user per month billed annually.

This list is for contact center leaders, support directors and sales operations managers choosing cloud software for inbound and outbound calling. We compared documented features and published prices for 10 platforms, from enterprise CCaaS suites to phone systems built for smaller call teams, and scored each on features, ease of use and value. Prices are the cheapest paid plan in US dollars as shown on the vendor's page on the date we checked. Amazon Connect charges per minute rather than per seat, and 8x8 does not publish contact center prices, so its pricing is marked as pending.

    Price

Genesys Cloud CX 1 from $75 per user per month billed annually; CX 2 $115, CX 3 $155, CX 4 $240

Quoted from the Genesys Cloud CX pricing page on November 5, 2026: $75 USD per user/month billed annually

Genesys Cloud CX gives contact centers a clear upgrade path on one platform. The entry tier, Genesys Cloud CX 1 at $75 per user per month billed annually, is built for voice contact centers and lists call routing, speech-enabled IVR, outbound campaigns, analytics and reporting, unified communications and interaction plus screen recording. That covers the core of most inbound and outbound phone operations. Genesys Cloud CX 2 at $115 adds digital channels, omnichannel routing and built-in quality assurance and compliance, CX 3 at $155 adds full workforce engagement management, and CX 4 at $240 adds more AI, including Agent Copilot. The catch is price for teams that need chat or email from day one, since those jump to the second tier, and the setup depth suits centers with an admin who can own routing design. For a call-heavy center planning to grow, it offers the most complete entry plan on this list.

    Strengths

    • +The $75 entry plan already includes outbound campaigns and analytics
    • +Four published tiers make it easy to see what each upgrade adds
    • +Unified communications for back-office staff come in the same platform

    Drawbacks

    • −Digital channels such as chat and email start on the $115 tier
    • −Full workforce management needs Genesys Cloud CX 3 at $155

    Price

Contact center Essentials from $89 per user per month billed annually ($109 monthly); Advanced $119, Premium $149

Quoted from the Dialpad pricing page on November 5, 2026: Essentials $89 user/month Everything you need to run a contact center, from day one.

Dialpad builds its contact center around its own AI, so features that are add-ons elsewhere appear on the entry plan. Essentials, at $89 per user per month billed annually or $109 monthly, includes omnichannel routing for voice and digital, a Power Dialer, AI transcripts with recaps, PII redaction and sentiment, contact center analytics, advanced routing, screen recording and a local presence dialing package with voicemail drop. Advanced at $119 adds real-time AI coaching and quality management with AI CSAT and scorecards, and Premium at $149 adds forecasting, scheduling and adherence. Every plan has real-time dashboards and historical call data. The limits are that only Essentials can be bought online, monthly billing costs noticeably more, and Admin and Reporting APIs are a Premium feature. For a support or inside sales team that wants useful AI out of the box and a short setup, it offers a strong balance of capability and price.

    Strengths

    • +AI transcription and sentiment come on the entry contact center plan
    • +Workforce management is included on Premium rather than sold separately
    • +A free trial and online purchase are available on Essentials

    Drawbacks

    • −Monthly billing raises Essentials from $89 to $109 per user
    • −Advanced and Premium are sold through sales
    • −Admin and Reporting APIs are limited to Premium plans

    Price

From $65 per agent per month with unlimited minutes

Quoted from the RingCentral RingCX pricing page on November 5, 2026: RingCX starts at $65 per agent with unlimited minutes

RingCX is RingCentral's native contact center, and its main draw is price: RingCentral states that it starts at $65 per agent with unlimited minutes, which removes the per-minute surprises that usage billing can bring. The platform handles voice and more than 20 digital channels, including chat, email, SMS, social media and WhatsApp, in one agent view. Outbound teams get preview, progressive, predictive and voice broadcast dialers plus proactive SMS. On the AI side, AVA Agent Assist offers real-time knowledge, suggested responses and compliance checklists, Supervisor Assist flags calls that need attention, and AI Quality Management scores every interaction. Reporting includes more than 250 pre-built reports, custom dashboards, call recordings and screen recordings. RingCentral pitches it at teams that want to go live in days. Larger centers should confirm which advanced routing and workforce engagement features need the enterprise track, since those are listed separately.

    Strengths

    • +The lowest published per-agent price among the full contact center suites here
    • +Unlimited minutes keep monthly bills predictable
    • +Shares a directory and presence with RingEX for back-office staff

    Drawbacks

    • −RingCentral publishes the price on a comparison page rather than a full plan table
    • −Advanced routing and native workforce engagement are listed under enterprise solutions
    • −AI Receptionist and some AI tools are named products that may cost extra

    Price

Digital Essentials from $85 per user per month; Voice Essentials $105, Elite $165, Industry Experience Clouds $225

Quoted from the Talkdesk pricing page on November 5, 2026: $85 USD Per user, Per month

Talkdesk publishes its plans more clearly than most enterprise contact center vendors. The cheapest is Digital Essentials at $85 per user per month for email, chat, SMS and social messaging, but a call center will usually start with Voice Essentials at $105, which includes voice engagement, speech recognition, voicemail transcription, Studio routing, business intelligence and API access. The $165 tier adds custom reporting, screen recording, performance management and workforce management, plus a choice of add-ons. Industry Experience Clouds at $225 bundle that tier with editions for financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail, travel and other sectors. For small businesses in the US and Canada, Talkdesk Express offers a no-contract start with 25 licenses and $100 in free credit. The catch is that voice is the more expensive starting point and much of the AI catalog is sold through sales, so the final quote can climb well above the list prices.

    Strengths

    • +Clear published prices for each plan
    • +Workforce management is part of a published plan rather than custom only
    • +Talkdesk Express gives small businesses a no-contract way to start

    Drawbacks

    • −Voice costs $105 per user, more than the $85 headline digital price
    • −Industry editions start at $225 per user
    • −Many add-ons are handled through sales

    Price

Essentials from $30 per license per month billed annually (minimum 3 licenses); Professional $50

Quoted from the Aircall pricing page on November 5, 2026: $30 per license/month

Aircall is a business phone system rather than a full contact center suite, which is exactly why many small support and sales teams choose it. Essentials, at $30 per license per month billed annually with a three-license minimum, includes unlimited calls within the US and Canada, SMS and MMS, a shared inbox, call recordings with AI transcripts, IVR with business-hours call flows, basic dashboards, more than 250 integrations and 50 minutes of AI Voice Agents each month. Professional at $50 adds AI call summaries and conversation intelligence, smart routing based on CRM data, queue callback, a Power Dialer for lists of up to 1,000 numbers and outbound call campaigns. Enterprise adds SLA, SSO and SCIM for teams of 25 or more. What it lacks compared with the suites here is workforce management, advanced quality tools and large-scale predictive dialing. For teams of a few to a few dozen agents, it is quick to roll out and easy for agents to learn.

    Strengths

    • +One of the fastest setups for a small call team
    • +Recording and AI transcripts are included on the entry plan
    • +Free access to test the platform before buying

    Drawbacks

    • −Smart routing, queue callback and the Power Dialer need Professional at $50
    • −Basic dashboards keep up to six months of data on Essentials
    • −Minimum of 3 licenses, and 25 for Enterprise

Omnichannel Suite from $110 per agent per month; Essential $135, Core $169, Complete $209, Ultimate $249

Quoted from the NICE CXone Mpower pricing page on November 5, 2026: Omnichannel Suite $110 Per agent per month

NICE CXone Mpower is built for large contact centers, and its pricing page reflects that with five suites from the $110 Omnichannel Suite to the Ultimate Suite at $249 per agent plus $0.25 per session. Across the suites the platform covers interactive voice response, omnichannel routing, proactive web engagement, outbound engagement, recording and compliance, and a full workforce engagement set with screen recording, quality management, workforce management, performance management, interaction analytics and gamification. Copilot assistants for agents, supervisors and leaders and AI agents for self-service and process automation sit on top. NICE also sells industry packages for banking, insurance, healthcare and retail, plus its own UCaaS. The depth is the main reason to choose it, but it also makes the product heavier to configure, and each suite step adds a meaningful per-agent cost. For centers with hundreds of agents and compliance requirements, it is one of the most complete options available.

    Strengths

    • +The broadest feature catalog on this list
    • +Published suite prices from $110 to $249 per agent
    • +Industry packages for banking, insurance, healthcare and retail

    Drawbacks

    • −The suite structure takes time to compare against your requirements
    • −Industry packages add a $0.25 per session charge

    Price

Usage-based: voice $0.038 per minute plus standard telephony rates; chat $0.010 per message; no seat licenses

Quoted from the Amazon Connect pricing page on November 5, 2026: Voice $0.038 per voice min (standard telephony rates apply)

Amazon Connect, now sold as Amazon Connect Customer, takes a different approach from every other product here: there are no seat licenses. AWS charges $0.038 per voice minute plus standard telephony rates, $0.010 per chat message, $0.080 per email and $0.014 per SMS or third-party message, with no minimums or long-term contracts. AWS says the AI capabilities are included in that usage price, covering pre-built AI agents, agentic voice and self-service, real-time agent assist, post-contact summaries, forecasting and agent scheduling, performance evaluations, screen recording, conversational analytics and outbound engagement. That model is attractive for seasonal or spiky volume, since idle agents cost nothing. The downsides are predictability and effort: a busy center pays for every minute on top of telephony, and contact flows, integrations and reporting usually need someone comfortable in the AWS console or a partner. For teams with that skill set, it offers enterprise features without a seat contract.

    Strengths

    • +No seat licenses, so costs follow call volume
    • +AI capabilities are included in the usage price
    • +Fits teams already building on AWS

    Drawbacks

    • −Telephony charges come on top of the per-minute price
    • −Monthly costs are harder to forecast than a seat price
    • −Setup and flow design usually need technical staff or a partner

Digital plan from $119 per seat per month (digital channels only); Core with all channels $159; minimum 50 seats

Quoted from the Five9 pricing page on November 5, 2026: Digital channels only $ 119 Monthly/Seat USD

Five9 has long been a default choice for outbound-heavy contact centers, and its published plans show why: every tier lists a blended inbound and outbound agent desktop, a dialer, recording and geo redundancy. The Digital plan at $119 per seat per month covers digital channels only, so a call center will start with Core at $159, which adds all channels with essential AI such as summaries, live transcription and agent assist. Plus, Pro and Enterprise are quoted and add advanced AI and workforce engagement, where Five9 lets buyers choose its own tools or partners Verint and Calabrio. Prices are per concurrent user rather than named agent, which helps centers running shifts, but there is a 50-seat minimum and usage-based charges may apply. That puts Five9 out of reach for small teams, while large centers with dialing campaigns and an existing workforce management vendor will find a flexible fit.

    Strengths

    • +Strong outbound dialing heritage with blended agents
    • +Lets you choose Five9, Verint or Calabrio for workforce engagement
    • +Published starting prices, unusual for an enterprise vendor

    Drawbacks

    • −Minimum of 50 seats
    • −The $119 plan covers digital channels only; all channels start at $159
    • −Usage-based charges may apply on top of seat prices

Quoted from the JustCall pricing page on November 5, 2026: $ 29 per user/month, billed annually

JustCall is the lowest-cost way on this list to give a small team a shared, CRM-connected call line. The Team plan costs $29 per user per month billed annually with a two-license minimum and includes unlimited inbound minutes and AI transcription minutes under a fair usage policy, IVR and call menu setup, a shared SMS and WhatsApp inbox, more than 100 CRM and data integrations, team performance analytics and API access. Local numbers are available in more than 70 countries. Pro at $49 adds workflow automations, and Pro Plus at $89 adds AI coaching and tracking. AI voice agents that answer calls around the clock are sold separately by usage. Like Aircall, it is a phone system rather than a contact center suite, so there is no workforce management, and large teams will outgrow its routing. A 14-day free trial makes it easy to test before committing.

    Strengths

    • +The lowest verified entry price on this list
    • +Local numbers in 70+ countries
    • +14-day free trial

    Drawbacks

    • −Built as a phone system, so it lacks workforce management and advanced QA

We could not confirm a US price yet. Check the 8x8 Contact Center pricing page.

8x8 sells its contact center as one part of a platform that also includes business phones and communications APIs, and that is the main reason to shortlist it. The product page lists native voice, video and digital channels with a unified customer history, AI routing, conversational AI, speech analytics and a supervisor workspace. AI Studio lets teams build custom voice and digital agents in natural language for around-the-clock self-service with handoff to live agents, and proactive outreach covers outbound campaign management across channels including voice, chat, email, SMS, RCS, video and social. Workforce tools handle forecasting, scheduling and tracking. 8x8 does not publish contact center prices, so you will need a quote, which makes it harder to compare with Genesys, Talkdesk or RingCX on cost. It fits best where 8x8 already runs the company phone system and the goal is one vendor and one data set for every customer conversation.

    Strengths

    • +One platform for contact center, UCaaS and CPaaS data
    • +Voice, chat, email, SMS, RCS, video and social channels
    • +Workforce forecasting, scheduling and tracking available

What to check before you buy

Split inbound and outbound needs

Inbound centers need queues, IVR, skills-based routing and callbacks. Outbound teams need preview, progressive or predictive dialers, list management and compliance controls. Most platforms here cover both, but dialers often sit on higher plans: Aircall adds the Power Dialer on Professional, and JustCall and Dialpad tie dialing features to specific tiers.

Price the channels you actually use

Several vendors price voice and digital channels separately. Talkdesk lists Digital Essentials at $85 and Voice Essentials at $105 per user, and Five9's $119 Digital plan covers digital channels only. If your agents mostly take calls, compare the voice plan, not the cheapest headline price.

Check seat minimums and license models

Five9 prices per concurrent user with a minimum of 50 seats. Aircall requires at least 3 licenses and JustCall at least 2. Amazon Connect has no seat licenses at all and bills per minute or message, which suits seasonal volume but makes monthly costs harder to predict.

Look at workforce and quality tools

Once a center passes a few dozen agents, forecasting, scheduling and quality scoring matter as much as routing. Genesys Cloud CX 3, Talkdesk's $165 plan, Dialpad Premium and the higher NICE suites include workforce management. On cheaper plans you may need a separate tool.

Confirm the CRM and help desk connection

Agents work faster when the caller's record opens with the call and the call log lands back in the CRM. Check the native connectors for Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk or ServiceNow, and whether screen pops and automatic logging are included or sold as add-ons.

Common questions

What is call center software?
It is software that routes inbound calls to the right agents, places outbound calls through dialers, records and transcribes conversations and reports on queues and agent performance. Cloud versions, often called CCaaS, run in the browser with no on-site phone hardware.
How much does call center software cost?
Verified entry prices on this list run from $29 per user per month for JustCall and $30 for Aircall, both billed annually, to $65 per agent for RingCentral RingCX, $75 for Genesys Cloud CX and $110 for NICE CXone Mpower. Amazon Connect charges $0.038 per voice minute plus telephony instead of a seat price.
What is the difference between a call center and a contact center?
A call center handles phone calls. A contact center adds digital channels such as chat, email, SMS and social messaging and routes them in the same queues. Most platforms here are contact centers, while Aircall and JustCall are closer to call-focused phone systems.
Which call center software is best for outbound calling?
Five9 and RingCentral RingCX list preview, progressive and predictive dialing, and Genesys Cloud CX includes outbound campaigns from its $75 tier. For small teams, Dialpad includes a Power Dialer on Essentials and Aircall adds one on Professional.
Is Amazon Connect cheaper than seat-based platforms?
It depends on volume. Amazon Connect has no seat licenses and charges per minute and per message, so a center with uneven or low volume can pay less. A busy center with agents on the phone all day should model monthly minutes plus telephony against a seat price before deciding.
